Haven't gone paperless? People are now asking for electronic statements for all sorts of things - online financial accounts, cable/phone bills, health/car insurance, car payments - anything that needs a paper check and stamp can many times be turned into an electronic notification and statement. Plus with mobile phones, all of this can simply be pulled while you are on the go.
By simplifying your accounts with paperless statements, you'll simplify your life. You'll get cool "now" things like 24/7 access to your account information, instant updates about activity and a running history of past statements all archived and filed. Plus, you'll reduce the chances of your personal information being lost or stolen. Paperless means more secure, more convenient and more up-to-date. Instead of looking through your "unique" filing system in your home office (right next to your awesome 10-year paystub collection), all you have to do is sign in to your account, click a couple of buttons, and there you go. And if you really "need" the tactile experience of paper in your hands, we won't hold it against you (much). You've still skipped the envelope, the extra filler you won't read and the inconvenience of waiting for the information to arrive via pony express.
Sure it's the right thing to do. But the truth is, going paperless is the smart, savvy, "saver" thing to do. And it's secure. It means less mail to open (and less clutter), fewer paper cuts and a cleaner, happier life. OK, so maybe that was a bit of a reach on that last one, but we're really big on paperless here. And wouldn't it be so much nicer to do all the productive things you need to do from your home computer, laptop, or handheld? Paperless? More like effortless.
