Before you put your money in someone else’s hands, make sure those hands are dependable, reliable and most importantly insured. Here at Avadian, we want you to feel comfortable and assured that your funds are in good hands. That’s why our deposit insurance is provided by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). The NCUSIF carries the full faith and credit of the Federal government. This type of deposit insurance is currently carried by the largest credit unions in the country and is similar to the deposit insurance protection offered by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

Through NCUSIF, your aggregate non-IRA savings deposits will be insured up to $250,000 and aggregate IRA deposits will be insured up to $250,000. We also carry additional coverage through Excess Share Insurance (ESI), which means all account relationships will be insured up to an additional $250,000. ESI is the highest level of share insurance coverage available without any direct cost to you. ESI is exclusive to credit unions, and Avadian is proud to say we are one of 10 credit unions in the state to offer it, giving us a distinct advantage over most financial institutions. In addition, with ESI, you are able to maintain a much higher balance and still have the security you deserve. However, if you require coverage greater than what we currently offer, it may be possible for you to arrange your accounts to maximize the coverage available.

If you have any questions regarding deposit insurance coverage or the insurance protection offered by Avadian, please contact Member Services at 1.888.AVADIAN (1.888.282.3426).
