These Official Rules apply to the Avadian Credit Union Barber Motorsports Museum Ticket Giveaway promotion (the "Promotion") conducted by Avadian Credit Union ("Avadian"). The Promotion begins at 9:01 a.m. CT, on October 6, 2023, and will end at 11:59 p.m. CT, on October 10, 2023 (“Promotion Period”). By participating in this Promotion, you agree to these Official Rules.
NO PURCHASE OR CREDIT UNION RELATIONSHIP IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR RECEIVE A PRIZE, AND THUS WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Employees, board members, other persons or entities directly involved in the administration of this promotion, and any Related Person of the foregoing are not eligible.
DEFINITIONS. Capitalized terms used anywhere in these Official Rules have the following meanings unless expressly provided otherwise: “Related Person” means a natural person who is an immediate family member (parents, siblings, spouses, and persons living in the same household, whether or not related by blood, adoption, law, lineage, or descent). A Related Person is not eligible and cannot be a Qualifying Entrant. “PRIZE” means two adult admission tickets to the Barber Motorsports Museum from Avadian Credit Union and available to the selected winner, as explained below. “Qualifying Entrant” means an entry made in accordance with these Official Rules by a consumer (not business) who is eligible under these Official Rules to participate in the Promotion. “Qualifying Entry” is an entry made in compliance with these Official Rules by each Qualifying Entrant. “Entry Deadline” means 11:59 p.m. CT on October 10, 2023.
ENTERING, PRIZES & TIME OF AWARD. One entry into the drawing can be made either by: (1) scanning the QR code provided at the event and fully completing the electronic form during the Promotion Period; or (2) submitting by U.S. mail one original handwritten 3"x 5" index card with the entrant’s name, mailing address, city, state, ZIP code, email address, valid telephone number, current membership status, and the words “Barber Motorsports Museum Giveaway” and mailed in a properly posted envelope to Avadian Credit Union, ATTN Marketing Department, PO Box 360287, Birmingham, Alabama 35236-0287. All mailed entries must be postmarked during the Promotion Period (ends October 10) and must be received by Avadian by 5 p.m. CT on October 11, 2023. Only one Qualifying Entry per entrant will be accepted. All mailed entries must be original handwritten entries, and no mechanical reproductions of entries will be permitted. Each Qualifying Entry submitted using either of said two methods and made in compliance with these Official Rules has the same chance of winning.
A Qualifying Entry constitutes that entrant’s consent to participate in this Promotion and consent for Avadian to use the entrant’s name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and other information for the purpose of administering this Promotion and for other uses by Avadian as permitted by applicable law. Entries are the property of Avadian and will not be acknowledged or returned. Avadian is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misaddressed, or otherwise misdirected entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to equipment malfunction or error. Each Qualifying Entry received before its Entry Deadline will be pooled with all other Qualifying Entries and will be eligible for the PRIZE.
WINNER SELECTION. The winner shall be selected using a witnessed random drawing from all pooled Qualifying Entries. The drawing will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2023. The winner will be notified by e-mail on October 12, 2023. If the Prize remains unclaimed five business days after Avadian’s reasonable attempts to contact the winner or if the winner is deceased, the winner forfeits the Prize.
GENERAL: BY ENTERING THE PROMOTION, EACH ENTRANT: (1) AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES; (2) AGREES TO RELEASE AVADIAN CREDIT UNION AND AVADIAN CREDIT UNION'S EMPLOYEES, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, ENTRY SELECTION AGENT, AND ALL RELATED ENTITIES, FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, HARM, DAMAGES, COSTS OR EXPENSES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION PROPERTY DAMAGES, PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION, OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE AND CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR INVASION OF PRIVACY AND MERCHANDISE DELIVERY; AND (3) CONSENTS TO THE USE OF HIS/HER NAME, VOICE, PICTURE, AND LIKENESS FOR ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES IN ANY MEDIUM THROUGHOUT THE WORLD IN PERPETUITY WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION UNLESS PROHIBITED BY LAW. Avadian Credit Union may terminate the Promotion or decide to modify it in any manner that it deems fair and equitable to participants if it becomes aware of any occurrence that would materially affect the Promotion’s security and fairness. In the event of any such termination or discontinuation, Avadian Credit Union will make a cash donation in the amount of the estimated value of the prize stated in these Official Rules to a charity of Avadian Credit Union's choice qualifying under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code as a § 501(c)(3) charity. Avadian Credit Union's choice of the winners, and all other decisions with respect to the Promotion, are final. Avadian may prohibit individuals from participating in the Promotion and disqualify entries if they in any way (1) attempt to enter the Promotion through any means other than as described in these Official Rules, (2) disrupt or attempt to disrupt the Promotion or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, or (3) repeatedly show a disregard for these Official Rules or act (a) in an unsportsmanlike manner, or (b) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Avadian. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Avadian in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Alabama. The odds of winning will be determined solely by the number of entries received.
This offer or promotion is void where prohibited and is subject to federal, state and local laws and taxes. Applicable taxes are the responsibility of prize winners.

You can also send a self-addressed, stamped envelope marked “Avadian Credit Union / Attention: Marketing / Barber Motorsports Museum Ticket Giveaway WINNER LISTING” properly addressed to Avadian Credit Union, PO Box 360287, Birmingham, Alabama 35236-0287. Each request for the winner’s name information must be received by Avadian Credit Union not later than 30 days after the end of the Promotion Period.
